I wish you all joy and happiness, may all your dreams come true in this new year!

During this long winter holidays' period churches are among the most visited places (besides parties).

In the photo you can see the Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral in Cluj-Napoca. It was built in a Romanian Brâncovenesc style, between 1923 and 1933 and designed by architects George Cristinel and Constantin Pomponiu.
The main dome of the Cathedral, inspired by the dome of Hagia Sophia in Istambul, is surrounded by four Romanian Brâncovenesc style towers. The interior walls were painted between 1928 - 1933 by artists Anastasie Demian and Catul Bogdan.
